pain in left top area of leg its right in the crease

i have a pain in my left leg right next to my groin its where your leg bends.. it feels like something is tight like its pinching me. and sometimes i have pains shooting down my leg i dont feel a lump or anything there i know there is a lymphnode there i brought it up to a dr and he did nothing, my mom says there is a major arterie there also and  hardning of the arteries runs in my family .. it hurts the most when im laying down,what could it be and what should i do?

You might want to check with your doctor to see if you have an ovarian cyst.  They can cause this kind of pain as well.

hi, first and foremost you should have a stress-test to rule out artery blockage, but i would tend to think that you might have sciatica, lowerback disc protrusion.
