Yes, I do still have that issue but it doesn't come as often anymore. I have discovered if I have lack of sleep for a few days, nausea sets in and it stays for a few days until I catch up on my sleep. Also, if it is really bad, I drink water until I feel like my stomach has settled and once my stomach is settled, I can eat again.
Are you still having these issues? I have been dealing with the exact same thing for about 3 years. I don't know what to do, and I'm tired of everyone asking me if I'm pregnant. Mine is so bad in the morning that I do throw up especially if I smell something strong. It doesn't have to be necessarily a "bad" smell, just a strong smell. I can be taking a shower and the smell of my shampoo will set me off. The doctor told me I have gastritis, but the meds they put me on are too expensive to buy, so I'm just stuck feeling lke this. I also am very stressed about my job, and wish I could just quit most days, so I think its related to that as well. Has anyone found something that helps?? Something affordable? Because I can't live like this much longer. It really *****.
I usually try to go to bed not feeling hungry because if I go to bed really hungry there is a chance of me being nauseous in the morning. Right now I am experimenting with doing different things to see if I am going to throw up in the morning when I eat. The problem with skipping breakfast is that it may cause me to throw up my lunch, it depends on how hungry I am. Working out in the morning, then eating really slow afterwards seems to help. What I have noticed in the morning, if I wake up nervous, wake up really really hungry, or start feeling anxious or unhappy about something, that's when my stomach starts jumping and usually that's when I go to throw up during or after I eat.
For the past few days now, I have put a glass of water near my bed, so that's the first thing I put into my body when I wake up in the morning I drink it in order to warm my stomach up to get ready for digestion. It seems to help with the nausea. Also, if I eat a good, filling meal a few hours before I go to bed I usually wake up fine. I am going to start my summer of traveling this Wednesday so I am really looking forward to see if what I am doing in the morning is working. I haven't thrown up for a few days now, I am pretty happy!
I feel your pain, literally I do. I personally have just found out my diagnosis, and it is rarely diagnosed. Please, go to your family doctor to begin with. Be prepared for alot of testing, to rule out GI problems. Please, don't give up. I know where you are, I know the agony. I finally went to the cleveland clinic because there was no place left to go. I have a rare problem called MALS. It took over 2 years plus to diagnose. I went down to 82 pounds. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Tell you what sportschick, you have a friend here you can count on. I Understand. Go see your Fam Doc first. Start testing. :)

Hi, what do you do differently the night before, at home, that you don't do at college?? And what happens if you just follow your body's signals, and skip breakfast altogether? I know this is not recommended, but some people just can't eat breakfast.
