That sounds like a good idea to get a second opinion.
He vomits when he was sneaking gluten in the beginning. He has still been vomitting but not as bad since we did not know there was hidden gluten in the foods he was eating. He has the ulcers because of all the vomitting he was doing before I took him off of gluten. I am in the process of finding him a new gastro doctor and peditrician since both doctors have told me there is nothing else they can do for him.
Thank you so much for responding.
Welcome to the gastroenterology community! Did he start vomiting again when he started eating gluten again? He may not have a gluten allergy but he may be sensitive to gluten. If he feels better when not eating gluten, then don't let him eat gluten. Also, in rare cases, the biopsy will be normal even though the person has celiac disease. Have they figured out why he has ulcers?
