Worried about colorectal cancer

I am 46 and have long hx of chronic constipation, and gas which was helped with Myralax, but about 8 months ago I stopped needing it and have had normal stools even on the loose side. Sometimes when I need to have a BM it comes on suddenly and I will get a crampy feeling just before I use the toilet, which seems to subside after I am done.  Now for the last 2 months I am having rectal pressure around ovulation and for the last 3 weeks have generalized lower abdominal cramping.  The rectal pressure is gone, but I still have a bloated, gassy feeling and the abdominal cramping.  No acute pain when I press on my abdomen.   I have scheduled a physical and hope to soon get a colonoscopy but am nervous waiting... thanks for your comments

You can try over the counter gas-x to see if that helps the pressure, gas, and bloating.

Thanks so much.  I do suspect IBS, but had a rough day today.  Continued "generalized abdominal pain".  Constant rectal pressure, gas and bloating, back and groin pain.  Since I am otherwise healthy this is really frustrating.

It is probably something like IBS and not any type of cancer.  You might want to try eliminating different foods to see if the problems are connected to any food.
