acid reflux/Gerd

I had a very bad acid reflux attack, which has gotten alot better with a strict diet and Nexium. My only issue left is a sore feeling by my rib cage right and left and right in the middle of my stomach right below the middle of my chest. Is this air in my body? Is this a side effect of Nexium? I've been on Nexium for 3 days. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Still have a slight burn here and there, but much much better.

Acid reflux/GERD can have back discomfort and 'below the sternum' discomfort as well as the usual 'heartburn' symptoms - or for some, no symptoms at all. It all depends on the person.

The PPIs can take about 14 days (or more in some people) to fully become active. Try to be patient and continue with the diet.
