anal fissure

I have been dealing with this issue for months now.  It seems to get better, the now its worst. can anyone help me? Everytime i go to the bathroom, there is always blood in my stool, i know its coming from the outer part of the anus because its always at the end of the stool.  Im not sure why it wont heal. I tried fiber, bulk forming formula (metamucil) all sorts of creams, changing my diet, eating fruits, drikings lots of water,m always hydrated, but my stools always hard to pass and i do struggle soemtimes. and I go one every 2-3 days, it just keeps on tearing eveytime i go.. any suggestions with someone whos dealth with this? I did get treated for hemrroids coupdm months back, had them removed, but then the fissure began...i currently have no insurance, so i cant go to a doctor. so needs some feedback.

You could try an over the counter stool softener such as Lactulose.  It makes your stool very very soft.  It is apparently not habit forming.  You can find suggested doses online, but you must use enough to make the stool totally mushy.  Do this for 6 - 8 weeks, this is how long it can take for a fissure to heal.

Try some prunes with your breakfast cereals. It worked for me.
