beano work for you ? reducing gas

I have too much gas.  does beano  reduce the gas for you or not ?  
beano is digestive enzyme over counter medicine i would like to know if it really work for gas.

   i start thi tread just to get  the experiance people have on beano. those people who live with exesive gas toget their idea if it work or not since i ahve exesive gas.

and also if it reduce the gas what i need it means it is a life saver i can   go to the toilet when the gas come if it is not frecuint and embaresment . few  times a daye  i think every person gas is smelly , may be different  on what he/ she eat

Beano only helps to reduce gas, which is yielded by bacterial breakdown of CARBOHYDRATES. It does not help in smelly gas, which comes from sulphur-containing food. Beano will not reduce the smell, you're complaining about.

You've been eating rice and you were fine. Then you've tried some tomato, which contains sulphur, and smelly gas came back. The smell (if it was sulphur or roten eggs smell) comes from bacteria which break down sulphur containing PROTEINS. Beano does not help with this.

The solution is not to eat sulphur-rich proteins (I provided the link in your original thread).
