can someone please help

i am a 31 female and have been experiencing bloating,but worst of all a constant need to burp.it feels like something is trapped in the chest are and burping doesnt relieve it.i also have alot of achiness in my upper back.i have acid reflux and a hiatal hernia and take 40 mg of protonix twice daily.i am constantly checking online about these symptoms and aerophagia came up several times.what can i do to alleviate this???????

i forgot to mention that i was diagnosed 6 years ago with the hiatal hernia and gerd.its just the last 2 or so months i have felt the need to burp.
no i didnt have surgery.

hi, did you have surgery to correct the hernia? if not then maybe thats causing the blocked feeling of gas in your stomach. try putting 3 to 4 hours between meals, dont have inbetween snacks and ofcourse make them gerd free meals, also eat very very slowly and make sure you drink water before and after each meal, once your hernia goes back in place and the medication heals your stomach linning then you should feel good again, if after this you still feel the same then you should have your lower digestive tract tested, cheers.
