chest pain after nissan fundoplication

I had surgery for reflux and hiatial hernial repair in 2001.  After surgery there was still pain in my chest off and on with pain behind my right shoulder blade. I had more tests and they all said that the surgery was a success and that the wrap was still intact.  I also had many heart tests and a heart cath and the pain was not heart related. It is now 2008 and the chest  pains are in the middle of my chest radiating out to the right. I had another heart scan today and my heart is fine. The doctor said he thought the pains were caused by muscle spasms and could be controlled with 600 mg  of ibuprofin three times a day. That seems like a but much. Could the pain be caused by scar tissue from the hernia repair or scar tissue around the wrap on my esophagus? please help.

My gallbladder was tested several years ago when the trouble started and it was fine.
