why is my 15r old getting stomach pain after eating?

Hi,
My daughter is 15 yrs old and for the last week every time she has eaten she is doubled up in pain in her stomach. No other symptoms at all, apart from a bit of tiredness. Took her to GP a couple of days ago and he said its probably a virus???? Im not so sure as she has had no fever, dihorrea, sickness anything. Would anyone have any ideas i could put to the doc when i take her back.
Many Thanks

Thanks for your reply 'mammo'
Firstly i want to say im so sorry to hear of your loss.
Secondly, thankyou for reinforcing what i already thought, that this doctor didnt have a clue what he was talking about. like you said i also dont think its anything serious but there is most definately something that is causing her to be in such pain after eating as its obviously not normal.

This isn't the flu, and I wouldn't take her back to that doctor!  There are many things this could be, so she needs to see a Gastroenterolgist for an evaluation and to nip this in the bud.  Don't do the doctor's job for him, find a new one.  I lost a son due to "maybe" and "probably"......I don't feel it's anything serious and I wish you both all the best and take care.
