dizziness from Rib injury

I cracked a rib and the pain was intense, hard to breathe, talk,cough.... was on hydrocodone for a few days however about Day 4 I suddenly experienced dizzy spells.  Sometimes it was just when I turned my head quickly and things got wobbly but a couple times when I got in or out of bed, it seemed like someone was flipping me upside down...very intense.  Even a couple days after I stopped Hyrdrocodone/all pain medication its still there.   I'm wondering if its med withdrawal, low blood pressure or lack of water....any thoughts?    57 years old, very good shape.
