floating stool

hi,
i know this question had been posted a lots of time before but still i'd really appreciate it if someone could give me answer or any advice on this matter.

I'm 21 years old female. I have this problem for a few months now. I don't feel any pain or facing any abnormalities (apart from the floating stools, of course) and occasional borborigmi. My diets hasn't change much. I thought this problem might be due to the fact that i ate chicken everyday ( 1/3 of chicken legs per day). However, since my housemates ate the same thing and don't face this problem, i thought that there's might be other explanation for this. I read an article saying that anxiety or stress could be one of the reasons but since life is pretty good for me, may be these are not applicable for me too (may be!). i dont drink alcohol, take any drugs or smoking. There's no one in my family have this kind of problem (family history).

So, may be someone could tell me why does this thing happen and is it serious (like I-should-go-to-doctor kind of serious)?

thanks alot for taking time to read and answer this =)

It's possible the fecal material could be mixed with a fair amount of gas, which would result in floating. However, if in addition you're seeing an oily film on the surface of the toilet water, you may want to check with your doc to see if you're experiencing any fat malabsorption. It's something that can and does happen with almost no other symptoms in some individuals.

Serious is constipation.
Serious is a tar like bowel movement
But one that has too many corn flakes can also have the shakey bowel.
