frequent bowel movements

I am a 25 year old female. I was in the hospital about 2 months ago with pancreatitis. I have changed my diet. My bowel movements were really weird for a while after I got out. It was diarrhea one day and constipation the next. It finally became my average to about twice a day. But, for the past couple of days it has been like 7-8 times a day if not more. My stomach does also cramp up quite a bit since this has been going on.

Can somebody please tell me if I should go back to the Dr. for like the 80th time or if this could just be the result of pancreatitis and my diet change.

Actually, they never found what caused the pancreatits. They did an ultrasound on my gallbladder and said that there were no stones. What is the common bile duct?

I was afraid I was going to be told to go back to the Dr. The medical bills and prescriptions and the new diet food are eating through my wallet quickly. Any other advise? Maybe some kind of at home test kit or something?

Did the doc find the cause of the pancreatitis? Is there any history or problem with your gallbladder? Is there any possibility that you've got gallbladder sludge and that the sludge could be irritating the common bile duct?

If your bowel habits have changed, yes you do need to check back with your doctor.
