gallbladder surgery

Following a mild case of shingles - taking antiviral and Lyrica meds, I ended up in the ER with nausea, loose bowels, feeling like vomiting and pain in my right ribcage area The dignosis was a diseased gallbladder. It has been three weeks since my surgery.  All is well except for the tenderness - achiness in my right ribcage. I am taking Tylenol as needed.  This discomfort occurs periodically. My question is whether this is coming from the shingles or from the gallbladder surgery. Also, it is likely that this will dissipate with time

Its probably more from the shingles... I had my gallbladder out 7 weeks ago and feel great... the odd thing i eat doesnt sit well, and get a reminder pain I had before but nothing like i used to get.  Are you eating healthy?  As this can make a difference as well as with dairy stick to the non fat and skim milk for now? Only complaint I have is I am exhausted, feel like I cant get my energy up at all...are you feeling this as well?  If pain continues doesnt hurt to get it checked out as they could have left a stone in the bile duct, if you had stones.

You can have aches and pain for a while after your gallbladder surgery.  My surgeon referred to them as phantom pains.    Shingles pain can last for many months in some people as well so it could be either. If it continues then you could have a visit with your dr to see if you are ok.
