Hi I have just found out my gallbladder is functioning at 18 percent, dr recommends removing it, I am scared but I have alot of pain, and heartburn, and indigestion, any advice and is 18 percent to low,

Mine was 27% and I had my surgery done Aug 19;I'm doing fine. On the 6th day I was aready doing my routine of daily walking.Almost a month now and I'm my usual self. No need to be in pain when there is surgical treatment and your doc recommends it

THE SURGERY IS DONE THROUGH five 1 CM INCISIONs
( LAPARASCOPIC)   recovery is about 5 days depending on you age  little to no bleeding risk.  diet for 4 days willbe clear fluids, moving on to small soft meals low or fat free. Do it you are suffering for no good reason.
