involuntary flatulance

I have I.B.S. and over the past year and a I half have been experiencing spasms that feel like a stomach flutter but they happen in the lowest section of the bowel close to the anus.  I believe it's involuntary flatulence.  Have you ever heard of such a thing and what can be done to alleviate this condition as you might imagine this is a most unwelcome problem.

Actually, everyone passes gas several times a day.  Most don't know it, and most of the time it isn't smelly.  It's when it is smelly all the time or if it causes a lot of pain that one must be concerned about it.

Have you ever tired the digestive aid "Beano"? It prevents gas from forming in the gut and may prevent this symptom. I try to take one capsule before eating any gas producing foods such as beans, broccoli or onions and it works great.

whatever I eat and whenever, I pass wind immediately after, also I pass wind frequently all day even having passed a motion, I feel that I want to pass wind all the time, and as I am in the thro`s of a new relationship I find this most embarressing if the times comes that we take the relationship to a deeper level i.e. intercourse I cannot control this involantary flatulance and hope you can help, have spoken to my GP in the past with no success
