bad tummy pain/cramping and bloating

Does anybody else have this problem???
For the last week and half i have been feeling icky in the belly as if i were just constipated.
Right before i began feeling this i was eating diner and going straight to bed.
Different times i awoke in the night feeling really hungery so i would snack on some toast or something like that and go back to bed. Then when i would wake in the mornings after doing all this i would feel like my food was still lying in my tummy and i would get nautious and belly would feel bloated and tender.
It went away and come back even after i stopped eating in the middle of the night.
I started thinking i was only constipated do to what i was doing. But my stools are soft and normal looking.
Then with belly being bloated the whole right hand side of abdomen is firm and tender. Feels like i got punched in the gut.
I was diagnosed w/IBS about 1 1/2 yr ago.
Is it possible that everything i ate is still bulked up and having a hard time to pass or
could it just be irritated?
Is it possible to be constipated and still be passing soft stools?

appendicitus is a pain in your right abdomen one way to tell if u have it is to push down on ur right side if it hurts on the rebound u prob have appendicitus u might also feel sick like vomiting plus it will hurt more when u stand up than when u sit down but dont take my word for it if ur concered get checked by a doctor my brother had it 3 or 4 years ago but hes fine now the appendix is useless anyways..yadude

Thanks for your reply. In the past i have had a colonoscopy, berium enima, multiple x-rays and sigmoidoscopy. They found nothing and diagnoses me w/IBS.

Right at this time i seem to be feeling a little better than i was, and my tummy isn't as bloated as it was earlier.
My stools r still soft but i think the whole problem was from me eating alot and laying down or going to bed afterwards. It may have irritated something or just bundled to much in the bowel for it to handle at once.
Would u happen to know anything about how appendicitis feels? Like how long symptoms lasts or is it sharp agonizing pains or mild pain?

if u are concered i suggest an ultrasound thats what i did becuase i had pains on the left side of my abdomen except i havent got the results yet and i believe it is normal to be constipated and pass soft stools depends on what u eat and how much fiber u get a day. i had the same problem and im still having it i prob will ask for a colonoscopy to see if i have something wrong with my colon CRAZY EH AND IM ONLY 18 but anyone can get it
