I agree with what the above poster has stated. I would ask your doctor to perform an abdominal ultrasound to check out your gallbladder, liver, etc. If that comes back more or less normal, then HIDA Scan with CCK would be the next step to completely rule out your gallbladder as the cause of your discomfort. The HIDA scan will show doctors how well your gallbladder is functioning, and if it is inefficient, more then likely they will remove it through laproscopic surgery in an attempt to relieve your symptoms. I too started to have upper abdominal pain after the birth of my 2nd son. I was found to have gallstones and had my gallbladder removed.
Have you had this checked? Pregnancy can cause gallstones......
I have also found though that my problems after having my gallbladder removed have not gotten any better, and am being investigated for sphincter of oddi dysfunction.
I hope you can get some answers and relief.
