possible gastro problem and loss weight

My son is 16 years old. He has been been doing the insanity program and eating less for about 2 months . He has been exercise for two months for 45 minutes to an hour a day. he loss a lot of weight  close to 30  In thanks giving , he had constipation that stopped him  from eating. He  spent a while without been able to eat. In january, he went to ER where they gave him enema which help him to remove his  bowel.

Now , he is  eating a lot and still cant get his weight back. I would like to know if there is something wrong with him.

His test as far glucose, cbc, colesterol, thyroid  came back ok. but the doctor press his side of te3 stlmac and still he has some pain which e still back up. I am so oncern and i need help please

test came back ok . They gave zantax for acid reflux . Can ulcer cause weight loss

Aside dietary intake, weight gain/ loss also depends on physical activity, BMR, height, weight, hormonal/ endocrine status, GI causes such as malabsorption, medication side effect etc. Constipation is unlikely to be a factor in lack of weight gain. I would suggest waiting for a few more weeks before considering a review with his treating doctor, if the weight is below the normal range of BMI.
