Babydawwl, find another doc to work with. It may or may not be an ulcer - if it is, it needs to be treated. If it isn't, the cause for the pain needs to be investigated.
i had my gallbladder taken out in 2007? and i have attacks as well i can tell when theyre comind its like a knife in the back and almost brings me to tears i have to have my husband rub my back or i lay on the floor i find comfort in the hard floor.Ive told my doctor about the symptoms but he just brushes it off and tells me its an ulcer
My pains are sharp-stabbing like pain in the area with a ton of air bubbles where the gallbladder was....I had a burger today and the pain was severe...have low-fat foods moderate
One of the typical symptoms is extreme pain in the area of the non-existent gallbladder - attacks that feel like a gallbladder attack. The attacks can last from minutes to hours and when prolonged, can elevate liver and possibly pancreatic enzyme levels in the blood.

You may want to consider following a low fat diet to see if it's of help since you may not be able to process fats the way you did before the surgery.
