stomach issues

recently i have been suffering a while with stomach cramps pains and belching even on an empty stomach. on september 26th of last year i did a test for h-pylori and endoscopy and ultrasound and blood work and everything came back norma..then  months later i stupidly took an expired antibiotic and all the symptoms came back (only took 2 pills of amoxiciilin augemented ER-..etc)

all the gasses cramps and abdominal discomfort and belching came back. i am a male of 28 years old..i am worried of whether or not i may have caused myself serious damage..the  antibiotic was expired by 5/6 months..either way someone told me they suspected i might have candida (mild) or my gut was out of wack..so i did all the probiotics and florastor and evertyhing else..nothing seeemd to work...now when i eat i feel the food sitting in my stomacn and the gasses and the churning and the discomfort and the bupring is making me so depressed..i a hoping this is not cancer because my uncle died of cancer  7 years ago but im only 28

today i went to the doctor..they did a blood test, urine test and they did a stool test..i am waiting for the results..i am worried that they did not do a test for the Breath Test beacuse from what i hear i might have small intestinal bacterial overgrowth and im not sure if the stool test will detect that...

i just need help and reassurance.. imiss the days of no gas pain, stomach pain and discomfort

yes, that medication should help. it is what they normally prescribe for gastritis. And i agree that the antibiotics probably caused an inflammation. take those pills and hopefully soon you will see some improvement.

i meant heart burn not hear burn :) he also said the breath test was not necessary since i already did an endoscopy in september and they collected a little bit of tissue as well.(which turned out negative) he said that its not like anything else would have appeared since then. he said he believed it was the antibiotic that greatly irritated my stomach and caused my issues and said he thinks i have mild inflammation and gastritis

you were 100% right, all my tests came back negative (everything). I went to my GI and he prescribed me Omerzapole (Prilosec). He said that it would help alleviate the stomach ache (random) and burping (even though i dont have hear burn)..so i took my first pill today.

I did the candida spit test and it came out fine..so yea....i know i promise i wont bother you much after this but do you think this is the right approach?

the only real test for it is taken directly from the intestines. the breath test is not one id rely on, because yeast overgrowth happens a lot on the tongue too (thrush) (white tongue). a lot of ppl see the white tongue and think its dehydration, while this may be the case. If you are not dehydrated and have a white tongue its mos likely thrush which is a yeast overgrowth. Because of this, I'm not a fan of the breath test.
Another test tat is supposed to show candida overgrowth, is to gather up some spit, first thing in the morning (before eating or drinking anything), and spit into a clear glass of water (the glass needs to be clear). Wait 15-20 minutes and look at the glass, if your spit starts to look like a jellyfish, with tentacle looking things spread towards the bottom of the glass, that means you have candida. Its not a doctors test, but hey, take it or leave it.

sounds like sibo too me. none of those tests will show it. u need a colonoscopy so they can biopsy the intestine. Either way it wont matter because most doctors dont consider sibo a condition/problem/disorder. They'll just label it ibs and leave it at that.
Unless you really need to take anitbiotics, i wouldnt. they do probably just as much harm as they do good. If you do need to take them, you need to replenish those good bacteria, so lots of yogurt and pre and probiotics.
If those tests dont give you any answers, it may be candida, in which case just starve it out of you. Its not at all easy to do, in fact it completely *****, but if it makes you feel better...
In case you don't know, the yeast feeds on starch and sugar, so if you cut those out of your diet completely, and keep taking the probiotics, you will feel better in a few weeks or so.
