swallowing difficulty sometimes

Hi there doctor,
I diagnosed with GERD and Barrett's Esophagus for 4 years, and I did re-check with endoscopy again 4 months ago. The result's still the same which my BE's not growing bigger or got worse.

10 months ago,I invested too much money on the stock market, and then the world finance crisis occured.I lost a lot of money which everyday has made me very very worry. After a long period time(about 6 months) of worries due to my finance troubles. Suddenly I started to have swallowing difficulty symptom. I went to 3 doctors here in New York City. But,they all gave me the similar medicine such as nexium,losec... but those drugs never able to heal my swallowing problem at all. I went back to another doctor again, he request me for barium esophagram test and cat scan to see if I have other problems in my upper organs. The results all come out with fine. So my doctor said that I must have stomach ,esophagus spasms. And then he still prescribed me only nexium and maalox, and remind me trying to relax,no cancer at all.

One month later,my swallowing difficulty did not go away. Sometimes got so worse that also infected my breath when I ate rice or bread or other dry food which stuck on my chest for one or 2 days. I had to rush to the ER for 3 times, but they could not help me also.  And sometimes(just a few days)the symptom just disappeared with no reasons so I could eat anything like normal person.  This swallowing difficulty symptom actually has been on and off for nearly 6 months because of over worried.

So 6 weeks ago, I decided to call up a specialist thru my good friend in Taiwan ,the place where I came from.
She introduced me a Taiwanese doctor, then the doctor said my problem must be stomach ,esophagus spasms as one of New York doctor said. This Taiwanese doctor sent me 5 meds
(Omezol 20mg, Mopride 5mg,Cimetidine 200mg,Iwell 500mg,Strocain 10mg,Secorin 10mg )
Except Omezol once a day, others are 3 times a day 45 min before meals. After I started taking Taiwanese doctor's meds for one week only,my swallowing difficulty problem were 80% healed, and I can eat rice and regular food a lot. But,unfortunatelly, from the 6th weeks,I started to feel those meds ,aren't working as great as the first month, but still better than when I was only taking nexium ,maalox only prescribed by New York doctor.

I called up this Taiwan doctor yesterday. She said that maybe,my emotion that made drugs not as effective as before,so she wanted me to make myself relax or avoid worries. She also told me to get the Zoloft from a doctor, and take an half each day.

I am getting worried because this is really infected my life a lot. I did not know that the worries could made my digestive system fall apart to be so serious like this. I don'r care GERD or Barrett's E,because I can still live fine with them, but swallowing difficulty problem is really the most serious health problem in my life so far. Would you please give me some more ideas what to do.

So Dear doctor, do you think my real problem is stomach spasm? esophagus spasms or cardia spasm, the place that connected esophagus and stomach? I really need more advices to go on,can not live like this.

I am 42 yo male. I don't have any pain at all. The spasm was from doctor;s guessing, because after I check all,and could not still find the problem,so he said it must be spasms.
