Dear Snail,
I read both of your posts, and the other one asked if a tooth infection could cause that odor you have. I have several ideas about your condition. The above poster made a good suggestion, too.
About your tooth infection, yes, this can cause a stink in your mouth, and since it's near your nose, it will smell bad to you, and when you open your mouth to talk, others will then smell it, too. If you notice people step back when you speak, and not when you're completely silent, well, that's a good indicator it's your tooth infection. Put your hand in front of your mouth and breathe into your palm, and then smell it, see if the odor is the same as what you're describing. As you probably know, if your teeth get goofed up, it is very important to go to a dentist and have it fixed, because an infected tooth can "abscess," which causes pus, and that stuff can actually break through the skin on your face and scar it. Some county health departments have a dental section, in case cost is a problem. If the tooth is not in the front, the cheapest thing to do is have it pulled, and perhaps be put on antibiotics to stop the infection from going elsewhere.
Another idea is if you sweat, which you describe situations where you might do that, whatever internal body problems that are going on, will come out through your skin, and will make you smell funny, particularly if you are, for example, constipated all the time, and your waste stays in your body longer than it should, then every time you sweat, those toxins will be released. Constipation can be relieved by drinking more water, eating enough fruits and vegetables, eating Cheerios with a small glass of orange juice, and eating sandwiches with lettuce and tomato on 100 percent whole wheat bread.
Yet another idea is related to bedding and clothing and what you wash with. If you take your baths in the mornings, then it could be either your shampoo or your soap needs changing. Also, you should use freshly washed towels, and whatever you wash your towels in, you may need to change brands of detergent. Now, if you take your baths in the evening after work, then you might investigate if your sheets or pillows have an odor, which they need to be freshly washed weekly, and same advice on possibly changing detergent. I would even suggest you smell your mattress, to make sure it doesn't smell funny. Because it could be sleeping on it and not showering until the next day, you could be bringing that bedding odor with you to work.
There is also a chance that your closet or dressers where you keep your clothes might have an odor that you'll need to get rid of. If it smells like something in the wall of your closet, I hate to say this, but could be a small animal like a mouse has died in there and is stinking everything up where your clothes are. You can call an exterminator and he can open the wall and take care of that problem for you.
Finally, do a google search online for "body odor," and see if you can find out what else might cause that smell besides all this stuff here, especially anything medically wrong with yourself, and if you find something that matches up with your odor, then you might need to go see your regular family doctor and have them do a workup on you, to see if your kidneys or whatever is working right.
Hope some of this helps.
GG
FIRST OF ALL ARE YOU MALE OR FEMALE. IF YOU ARE A FEMALE, YOU NEED TO SEE A GYNAECOLOGIST. IT COULD BE THAT YOU CONTRACTED AN STD. OR YOU MAY HAVE A YEAST INFECTION.
I HOPE THAT I HAVE BEEN OF SOME HELP.
