Pinched feeling in shoulder area leads to arm feeling weak

Age: 26 Weight: 280 ethnicity: Caucasian, 6ft3, been happening on and off over a few months.
So basically I'm posting this because today my arm feels much weaker, like when I lift it up the muscles in the upper arm feel tired as if they've been used. The main complaint comes from a sort of pinched feeling in my left shoulder. It makes the area just under my arm feel sort of tight and my arm feels week. The sort of tingly feeling spreads to the upper part of my back. Now again it isn't a constant feeling but today its more obvious than usual. I went to the doctor about 3 years ago and had them look at my heart and they said everything was all good. Now I don't know how quickly those types of things can happen or form but that was my last doctor visit. I also have anxiety and have read that it can make all sorts of pains and such happen in all parts of the body. I haven't been to a doctor about my anxiety but I know it's pretty rough. Any help would be much appreciated.

So, we have a lot of nerves in our shoulder. This REALLY could be a pinched nerve which having what you describe down your arm is then a common side effect of that.  It's always smart to see a doctor and as that one arm pain is a sine of heart issues such as heart attack, it's in your best interest to circle back to your doctor to re evaluate that and rule it out.  Then you will likely start working on a trapped nerve issue.

My husband had a pinched nerve in the shoulder and he saw a neurologist.  He was being scheduled for surgery but did many stretches and the nerve released.  No surgery. So seeing a physical therapist may be a good option for you for a pinched nerve.
