You definitely need to go to the doctor or ER.  Severe chest pain, especially that which is worsened by activity, most definitely needs to be investigated to determine the cause.  It may be nothing, but it also could be heart related and definitely in the case of chest pains, it's much better to be safe than sorry.

I actually would suggest you do not drive yourself to the ER - either have someone drive you or call 911 - being in that amount of pain alone makes it not safe for you to drive and if it is heart related and you happen to pass out along the way, it could be disasterous for yourself as well as others.

Best of luck!

If you feel that it's that bad then I think you should go to the hospital. Hope you get better. Good luck:)
