I stepped on a nail, should I get checked?

So I was taking stuff up to my garage barefoot(bad decision), and I stepped on a tiny nail which I believe was from our roof since it was just redone. On a plus, this nail wasn’t rusty, and it was someone tiny. It only broke the first layer of skin and slightly resembles a blood blister though it did bleed. Also, I did have my tetanus shot about 5 years ago so that’s a plus as well. I see no signs of any infection, I washed my foot off and then used peroxide on it. Looking at it now, there’s no redness around the area, no puss, no liquid, no discoloration in the area of my foot. However, I do get very paranoid about things like this as I have severe anxiety and reaffirmation always seems to help. Should I be checked and is it likely to get tetanus when you’ve had the vaccine already

Since the nail was small, not rusty, only broke the upper dermis, you cleaned it thoroughly and used peroxide and your last tetanus shot was about 5 years, you really have nothing to worry about. It may be sore, but as long as you see no redness or swelling and definitely no pus, then just keep it clean and watch it for any signs of infection. In a few days I'm sure it will have healed nicely. If you DO notice any redness, swelling or a hot feeling coming from the "wound," see your doctor or go to the Urgent Care Clinic...……..if it has become infected, they will want to start you on antibiotics, but I seriously doubt it's going to come to that.
