Lice help!?!?!?

Hi,

I have been battling lice for every a year now. They come back every few weeks and I don't know where they can be coming from. I have washed all of my bedding every time. I have vacuumed and sprayed the couches, the bed and my car. I am the only one in a house of 4 that has them. Please help! I am dying here!

hi, using enough haispray or hairgel is a good trick to keep you clean!
Lice hate dirty hair and get resistant to the same shampoo. Try dogs shampoo and put little items like scarfs, brushes etc. in the freezer for a day!
And yes, the entire family should be treated and "frozen"
good luck,

I forgot to mention here that there are resistant strains to commonly used products. These may need oral prescription medicine like Ivermectol.
Do consult your doc.

Sounds like you are doing everything right.  Just make sure you remove all lice and eggs that are in your hair before you clean everything in your house.  There are medicated shampoos and combs that are available at  pharmacies.  Sounds like you've had a miserable year.  All the best.

Try this. Use the regular stuff that kills lice at the pharmacy BUT afterwards, put white vinegar in your hair and massage your hair and then shampoo your hair with shampoo and use a lot of conditioner. Do this for at least a week. The white vinegar doesn't kill adult lice but it dissolves the nit glue that holds the eggs that hatch out later. Also conditioner helps keep your hair slick and hard for lice to have anything to hold onto as well. I know vinegar isn't the most pleasant smell in the world but after you massage it into your hair, and you use your shampoo, you don't smell it that much if at all. It beats having lice!

well I think that you should not share your comb or any other staff that you use on your hair with anyone else and try not to use anyone elses. Also when you get in close contact with other people eg. hugging etc.you could get it from them. Try checking out a pharmacy for shampoos that removes lice.
