Lip piercing
Hello again! It's been months since I posted on here :) But I got my lip pierced 3 days ago, everything is fine. It's still swollen. But the skin inside and around it is hard. It tingles. Does that show/mean anything serious?
ineedananswer is correct. What you are experiencing now is part of the normal healing process. Just follow the insturctions I'm sure you were given on how to keep the area clean and just keep your eye on it for the next week. Anything that doesn't seem right after 7-10 days should probably be brought to your doctors attention. Continued redness and swelling as well as pain, (doh) would indicate an infection and would need to be seen immediately.

i had my lip pierced and all that is pretty much normal. the swelling should go down in about 3 more days to a week..
