Painful lump right above my eye brow

I woke up about two days ago with a painful bump above my eyebrow. It has not done anything except become more swollen above it and under my eyebrow. I have tried to drain it with a needle because it does not have a head on it and clear kind of beige liquid came out with a little blood. I am 20 and I was wondering if there is anything i can do to help get this to go away because it is causing some bad headaches and pains right where it is. It feels really stiff around it and it aches constantly.
Thanks for your help!

It could be shingles. That is how mine started. Terrible headache and pains are the signs that made me answer this. You don't have time to waste, you need to go in ASAP and get started on an antiviral to shut it down. You only have about 72 hours to do this. If it is shingles, you should probably go see an opthamologist also because it is near your eye. Don't mess around with it. If it is NOT shingles, the antiviral is not expensive and won't harm you. But leaving it to chance just may. Sorry to sound dramatic and scary, but I am trying to prevent you from the misery I went through. Don't let them tell you that you need to be old to get shingles either, NOT true. If in doubt, you can get a blood test to see if the virus is active(herpes zoster, related to the chicken pox, which is dormant in your body if you have ever had chicken pox). If it is shingles, you are also contagious to people who have never had chicken pox, thus giving it to them. (not shingles).

Sounds to me like you have an infected hair folical. If there is hair there pluck in and hold a cotton ball with alcohol on it. Try not to pick and squeeze on it too much or you will just make it worse. Put ice on it to relieve swelling if you have any. If there is puss then you need to put warm compress. Don't let it go too long...call a doctor for medication if need be.
