fot the past week i have pooped and there has has been dark blood in my stool and at times bright red blood

I agree! Blood in the stool implies bleeding somewhere in the GI Tract. Red or maroon colored blood is usually rectal bleeding (lowest part of the colon). Add in the pain, and you need to see a doctor ASAP. You don't want to delay treatment for a GI bleed.

Im kind of having the same problem as you! Ive started bleeding a week before my period is due, this started yesterday and today when I went too the toilet I noticed bright red blood in my stools! Im quite worried and dont know what its from, im also worried because ive never had my period early, im 20year old and this is the first time its happened too me!
