Red spot on my vagina

I have a small red lump on the left side of my vagina, it's sore to touch and grows slightly each day. I am only 14 so not sexually active.

It could be a pimple.........you can try applying very warm compresses and see if that lessens the pain.

It could also be an ingrown hair which can become infected and hurts like the dickens.

It could also be a totally benign (non cancerous) cyst or a boil.

Try the warm compresses for a few more days and if there is no change, then you need to talk to your mother or another adult you trust as it would be time to have a doctor take a look and figure out what's going on and get it fixed.

You'll be fine and I promise you will NOT die of embarrassment!

I get those also. Warm compresses a few times a day can help bring stuff out if it's a cyst.

You should tell your mom. It's nothing to be embarrassed about.

Ingrown hairs and clogged ducts are not abnormal.
