Sinus area pain with NO mucus, Dizziness, Eye twitches, Ear pulsatting?

I see that alot of people have the same symptoms I am currently dealing with.  Although does anyone know what it really is?

*Sinus area headaches constant (bridge of nose, around eyes and front of forehead) but with NO mucus or drainage.  My nose is dry!

*Dizzy spells to the point where I feel like fainting and nausea to boot.

*Tired all the time

*Constant feeling like something is wrong

I have had neurological tests along with EKG's and then just get pushed along.  Goes to show how well the V.A. doctors treat their new military veterans.  Can anyone please help with possible explanations or home remedies.  I can not continue like this and it has been 3 weeks of feeling like this.

3 weeks before this started I had a bout of heat exhaustion and on top of that a real bad cold.

Thanks if anyone can help.

Cause seriously, it sounds like you're dehydrated.

This is a super old post, so I doubt you're still monitoring, but to others who are stumbling upon this, the first thing you should all try is drinking more water.  If we're dehydrated, and most of us are chronically dehydrated, the system can do funny things.  Start with the simplest solution first.  Then, branch out from there.

Any further updates from either of you? What was the final diagnosis and treatment?

Did you eventually get a diagnosis. I am experiencing the exact same symptoms as you for the past 4 months. Was told to watch my salt intake and that I have a form of Labyrinthitis. I had heat exhaustion before all the these dizzy spells started to the point of almost passing out.  Any info you have would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I want to tell you that many people told me, I have to drink lots of water. Water helps by dry sinusitis, better circulation and for kidneys.
I am not water drinker, but I put one part of orange juice and the rest of the water. Even, if they tell me to drink 2 - 3 L of water, I can drink only about 1,5 L. I should drink more, but I am very seldom thirsty. I have tried with Coca Cola and was told, it is very unhealthy drink (I need Coffein for better circulation), and so I have stopped.
Try to drink more water, because I have read it is also good for headache.
Good luck,
B.

Thank you so much!  I will be looking into this today.  They originally did an EKG due to the fact I was complaining about horrid headaches (although I did not specify where my headache pain was) and dizziness.  Like I said though I will be looking into the C2 and the xrays.  Thank you thank you

I don't know why they did EKG? EKG is for the heart.
Can you ask to do X-rays of your neck? There is one vertebra, C2 that causes Sinusitis. Also Occipital Neuralgia (connected with C2) can cause sinusitis. I have Neuralgia that makes me problems with sinusitis.
I was told from one Neurologist: the neck muscle makes pressing on the nerve, the nerve is going into sinusitis and from sinusitis I have trigeminal neuralgia. That means, I have to have therapy for my neck muscle (levator scapula) and not for sinusitis.
If you think that by dry mucus helps humidity, which is very wrong. My mucus is totally dry and humidity makes me crazy. When I see outside fog or heavy air, my pains (eyes pains - because of sinusitis) become worse. What we need, is dry and warm climate.
There are other things that can cause sinusitis: bacteria's and kidney. You should look to find out, how is there.
Good luck,
B.

Thank you guys for the responses to this point.  Just very unsure on what the causes are seeing that I have had EKG's all the way to neurological tests done to this point with all negative outcomes.  I can not seem to find much on that Feverfew though.  As far as the dryness it could be but it would be shocking since I live in Florida and currently the humidity is constantly in the mid 70's to 80's (dewpoint).

try taking the herb feverfew. or Try Migre-Lief, a combination of feverfew,  riboflavin, and magnesium. The three work as a team better than feverfew alone,

Hi,

I have also chronic Sinusitis, but no mucus there. My mucus membrane is very dry.
In that case you have to find out, where from is dry your sinusitis or sinus area.
As I do my own Medical Research, sinus area is connected with the neck; poor back head circulation; neck muscle (Book about alternative medicine); kidneys; liver (the last two are from Edgar Cayce). Lately I have found that bacteria's, like Helicobacter Pilori as also Echerichia Coli can be connected with sinus area.
Two years ago I had massage and down there on the bottom beside my spine right I felt terrible pain by massage. I am always curious and asked him: what is there? The man told me, it is: Large Intestine Acupuncture Point. He asked me: do I have Sinusitis pains? I was shocked, because so far I wouldn't go to find the cause for my unusual Sinusitis.
(I love research, but I still don't know, where is the end and where is the start).
