Spot on lung w/pain
My friend, 27 years old and mother of 2, just had a pretty serious bout with pneumonia. The was coughing up blood. She also developed a spot near her lower rib cage that was about the diameter of a soft ball, kind of puffed up there and which hurt when she breathed. She went back to the doctor today and they took an xray. They informed her that the pneumonia has cleared up, but she has a spot on her lung and they have advised her to set up an appointment for a CT Scan.
The night before she went to the doctor she said her pain had come back. When she takes a deep breath in hurts in that spot where the puffiness was, and it also feels like it's pulling on something because the pain will travel up into her shoulder and neck.
