TDA - forgot if I took my vyvanse or not

Hi!
My question is a bit ironic. I take medications because I have a very bad problem of focussing and stuff. But sometimes, I am so unfocus when I get up in the morning, that I can't tell if I have taken or not my vyvanse... I do use that little week-by-week bokes thing, but sometimes I'm too busy to think about filling it for a week.
So I don't want solutions to avoid it happening again, I'll do my best so it does not happen again with those little pill boxes.
What I want, is: what should I do when this happens and I have work to do? Should I not take it in case I took it already and just try to focus if I didn't take it, or should I take the risk of taking one even though I might have already took one?
I take 30 mg. I used to take Adderall XR 10 mg. Would taking 60 mg one day be very dangerous for my health ? (I don't want to do it intentionnaly don't worry, just in case I take two the same day because I forgot I had already taken it...)
I'm 22 years old and weight around 88 pounds if that can help you.
Also, is there a trick, or a way, to know if I took it?
And another question... once I took adderall at 10 pm by accident when I wanted to take melatonin since my adderall causes insomnia... If I do it again, should I try to puke it back out or what should I do? Stay awake all night long? haha =(

Hello,

If you are in doubt, I would skip it, it is better to err on the side of safety.

The above poster has said it all actually, I can not add anything more.

Pill boxes work great to see if you forgot to take your medication. Of course they do not remind you to take your pills. For that you can set the alarm on your phone. (at least that is what I do)

What to do if forgotten and about dose changes read below:

How should I take Vyvanse?
Take Vyvanse exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Follow all directions on your prescription label. Your doctor may occasionally change your dose to make sure you get the best results. Do not take this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.

Lisdexamfetamine is a drug of abuse and may be habit-forming. Keep track of the amount of medicine used from each new bottle. You should be aware if anyone is using your medicine improperly or without a prescription. Using this medication improperly can cause death or serious side effects on the heart.

Vyvanse should be taken in the morning with or without food.

Do not take this medicine in the evening because it may cause sleep problems (insomnia).

Do not crush, chew, break, or divide a capsule. Swallow the capsule whole. To make swallowing easier, you may open the capsule and sprinkle the medicine into a glass of water or mix it with yogurt. After the medicine has dissolved, drink or eat the mixture immediately. Do not save for later use.

Your doctor will need to check your progress on a regular basis. Your blood pressure and heart rate will need to be checked often.

Store at room temperature away from moisture, heat, and light.

Throw away unused or expired Vyvanse in a sealed container or bag. Ask your pharmacist where to locate a community pharmaceutical take back disposal program.

What happens if I miss a dose?
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose, or if it is already evening. Taking this medicine late in the day can cause sleep problems. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
