Family member bitten by a snake

Hello, one of my relatives on my mother's side was recently bitten by a snake. As soon as she was bitten she went to the hospital to get treatment. Since she is in a country where the medical treatment is not as good as it would be in a place like America, she was told that if she can't identify what type of snake she was bitten by, they can't treat her. The problem is that when she was bitten she didn't see exactly what type of snake bit her. My mom is now telling me that one of her lungs has collapsed, and that her skin color has changed due to the snake venom in her body. My mom wants to know if anything can do be done to help her, since the doctors she went to didn't. Thank you
