it do sound like an infection which could be heading for the kidneys,go to your doctor so that they can treat you accordinly and also test your urine for blood traces, this can rule out stones in your kidneys, good luck

Sounds like you are your own best 'detective'. Get your urine checked tomorrow and you will know 100%. In the meantime, if it was me, I'd be drinking lots of water (as in 8 glasses a day). If you like cranberry or one of those they work the same...it's about keeping your urine flowing. a urinary tract infection certainly will make your back ache...often badly. If you wait and don't get treated you risk the infection settling in your kidneys and then might need admitting to the hospital for pyelonephritis, so get checked.
