spine/neck pain major headaches coming and going

well it started 3-4days ago, I started to have real bad pain in the back of my neck. And when im on the couch I lay back I get a bad pain in my right shoulder and neck, and a headache starts to form. When i press on my neck/spine I get a severe throbbing headache and the top of my spine when i press it, something goes in and out. I don't know what I did and the pain won't go away. I tried ibuprofen, I tried a muscle relaxer and the pain didn't go away. When ever I lay back on the couch I start to get a headache and my shoulder hurts. I can't even lay on my pillow on my back it hurts so bad, I have to lay on my sides. Does anyone know what is wrong or what happened?

Well this is only what I think:
My mum has a worn away disc in her spine so it really hurts het to lifts things and stuff. She finds it usefull if i give her a massage with cream. That may work for you too??
