my forearms randomly go numb, this just started about a month ago does this have anything to do with the knots in my shoulder blades?

It could be related to the knots in your shoulder.  If the knots are impinging on the nerves to your arms, that could cause the numbness. Some physical therapy might help, along with ongoing exercises.
