I believe many people talk to themselves. I know I do especially when I am stressed. People have caught me doing it at work. I can't see it being a disease. But I guess it could also depend on the extent, and if you change your voice when you do it.
Still I wouldn't stress talking to yourself. I believe at times that is the only way I can work through things. I guess in some ways it is a normal part of my day. Talking to myself also can help calm me, and help me remember things. If it is a disease then over 75% of people in the world probably suffer from it.
When you start changing your voice dramatically or doing it all the time, or arguing and yelling at yourself then you might want to talk to a doctor. At that point it might be a mental issue. Well, I hope this answer makes sense I am very tired right now. So may The Lord bless everyone's dreams.
