I hope this reaches you in time to assist. Warm baths, not hot can help to relax the uterus and surrounding muscles. You can also add essential oils as mandarin or lemon balm to the bath. These just smell nice. Or you can have a tea bath, yes I said tea. Pick any relaxing tea, add up to 6 tea bags to your bath and soak. Enjoy and relax. The combination of the scents and the warm bath should help with relaxation of the uterus allowing for your baby to come down as he/she should. If a bath is not something that works you can always drinks mint tea with just a little honey. If you sweeten it too much you won't be able to drink it. Then there's lots of walking. If you're not already active, this should help quite a lot. Finally, there's always more sex. This will not hurt the baby! It helps with stimulation of hormones and breast glands that in turn stimulate the uterus and cervix. Lots of foreplay can really help!!!! I've had 3 children myself, and with all 3 the doctor had to break my water as my babies did not want to cooperate either. ;) Best of luck and wishes.
they used to use castor oil in our moms day to start labor ..might be worth trying drink a large table spoon with some orange juice ...good luck
I'm not sure of the answer...sorry. The cervix usually starts thinning at this point.
I had a similar situation with my last daughter- I needed to go into labor due to gestational diebetes and cholestasis, the uterine environment was no longer a good place for the baby and doctors told me to "do whatever possible to go into labor". I went to a very reputable acupuncturist /herbalist and within an hour of the visit, I was having contractions and had my baby the following morning. Also there are herbs one can take that can help with pregnancy and labor- sorry, I don't know the names of them!
