release of urine is way to often

Everytime I sneeze, cough,or bend down I wet myself. The doc has tried several pills but nothing helps. Itys to the point where urine comes out of me when I have sex. I take extra uniform pants to work with me,I also where pads but sometimes the release of it is to much for a pad. I'm tired of smelling like urine, and changing my pants several times a day!!! does anyone other girls in there 30's understand this? has anybody took any pills to help this? I'm giving up hope with my doctor! will take any suggestions!!!

Hi Gwen I do this all the time i have cross my legs in public when I sneeze. But this also happened to me after my first child and has continued and got worse with each pregnancy. Don't know if you've had kids but you could try your pelvic floor exercises. Hope this helps.

Sounds like typical stress incontinence.  Yes, I have it too, but not as bad as you.  I have taken a medication in the past called Detrol and it worked great.  I have this problem on and off, so I take no medication now.

I would recommend you consult a Urologist.  Kegel exercises are good, but I think your situation is beyond kegels.

That happens to me too when I sneeze and cough and laugh, but I'm pregnant. The doctor told me to do kegels, and that should help. I assume it would do the same whether you are pregnant or not.
