my grandfather........terminally ill.....cancer

i am asking for you all to keep my grandfather in your prayers please. he was diagnosed with esophagus (sp?) cancer a few years back, after a long road of chemo he came out on top and beat it. it has been 2 years cancer free. it def took a toll on him he got so skinny and looked so bad, then started to get better. well for the past 5 months he has been complaining of sharp pains in his stomach and the doctors kept telling him it was side effects from his meds and the chemo from previous well he finally got them to run some tests and his stomach and small intestines are full of cancer. they then had to drain his stomach bc it was so swollen. they are giving him 2 months at best to live. i am praying for a miracle. he is 6foot 7in tall and only weighs in at 149pounds it's sad. i have not seen him yet but will be going downin a few days. i wish madison would be able get to know him, he is such a great man. he is only in his early 60's not even old enough to retire, so he is aggrivated and in a foul mood bc he said he was hoping to live a little bit longer. they are doing a test today to check and see if he actually has tumors or if its just cancer cells and etc. his doctor doesn't think that he will make it through another round of chemo. so please keep him in prayers. i'm hoping god gives us a little more time. thanks to you all a head of time.

Hi Tarrah, I'm so sorry for what you, your grandfather and family are going through. I loss a good friend in her late 50's to breast cancer 2 wks. ago.

Your grandfather is in God's hands and I do believe in miracles, but I'm also realistic to the possibility that the cancer might be terminal. Difficult times for you, family and especially your grandfather and your right he is a young grandpa.

It's important that he is surrounded by his family for support and please, tell him how much you love him, care for him and will be there for him. He will be very grateful and feel peace knowing you are all there for him, but cancer is a "monster" desease and he's going through a lot. I'm sure the doctors will do everything in their power to keep him comfortable and pain free. I would contact a priest and request a mass intention for his health. Difficult times ahead and I will keep you and your grandpa in my thoughts and prayers.
