Negative at 30 days but severe ARS symptoms

Hi Medhelp,

I am 30 year old gay men living in Amsterdam. Around 4.5 weeks back I had casual anal sex with a stranger guy where I was a top. He looked quite promiscuous and said he prefers unprotected sex. Though, I used protection, he had anal bleeding a bit due to which we stopped. Also, we had lot oral sex both as top and bottom. I didn't bother much about it as the condom looked intact. After around 30 days that is last sunday evening I developed sore throat and a bit fatigue. On monday (two days ago), I went to a free hiv testing clinic and the test was negative. I believe it was just antibody test. However from next day (i.e yesterday) onwards my symptoms have got worse. I have high fever, highly painful throat, headache and very sever fatigue which haven't subsided yet even after my physician gave me antibiotics yesterday. I haven't been so sick in last 2-3 years.
Since, the antibody test is not certain until 6 weeks, I can't be sure if have hiv for another 2 weeks.

But my anxiety about symptoms could be a bit relieved if anyone can confirm that the negative result on 30 days would mean that at least my symptoms are not ARS. That is if the symptoms are ARS, then test would have show positive. Also, at the time of test my symptoms were quite mild but worsened from next day.

Thanks

Protected sex is not a risk.  If the condom did not break - and you would know if it did - it is no risk.  Oral sex is not a risk either.
