Possible acute HIV symptoms?

Went to a conference with several other people I work with.  Arrived Friday at lunchtime and checked into hotel.  Went up to the room to put bag away and freshen up before the conference started that afternoon.  Went to the bathroom and washed my hands.  Grabbed the town off of the counter and dried my hands then wiped it around my face to clean my face off.  I noticed an odd smell to it but didn't think anything of it.  I put it down.  That evening I picked it up again to smell the towl and to me it smelled like semen.  I put the town down and washed my hands.  Picked up another town and smelled it and it did not have that smell to it.  Late Saturday night and all day Sunday I was extremely tired and then Monday morning I started getting a slight sore throat and my bowel habits changed along with a fever.  It has now been 3 weeks and still having sore throat and bowel issues and occassional fever.  Had an occassional headache that would be more like sharp pains and come and go for short periods of time for a couple days - never lasted much amount of time.  The fever has only been up to 99 (which for me is high as I'm usually below the 98.6 normally).  No swollen lymph nodes, no muscle aches.  Occassional joint pain here and there but last for a few seconds.  Neck stiff when I turn it to the right only.  No rashes have developed.  Does this sound like an HIV infection?

the towel was probably mildewed, as towels will do over time.

you were NOT at risk from hiv EVEN if there had been dried or fresh semen on the towel.  dont you think that is a little odd????????????

Towels are not route for hiv transmission. Risk zero and your problem is due to something alse.
