19 years old boy from Denmark.

Hey i have been looking for a site like this, to get a question covered.

Today we were makeing some bloodsugar testing to see how much sugar we had in our blood, and every hour we took a needle to prick on our finger so we could get som blood to test it for sugar. But after my second test witout notcing it, i took one of the other persons needle and pricked my finger, and after the lesent i realized i have been in expore to blood, and then i could maybe have cauhgt HIV from this. But this needle isnt the same as the drugusers use and dont have hole to pick up the blood in the needle, this needle you just prick to get some blood, but that dosent mean there havent been any blood on it, wich i am pretty sure there was! and i am very scacred!

Its was not a hollow bore needle, and i coudnt really see any blood but i am pretty sure there was a little bit blood on it but i coudnt see it with my eyes. I used it like 10 secs after she had used it so it have been in contact with air and so on before me.

As long as its not a hollow bore needle and u are certain that you have pricked a HIV positive person's blood and soon pricked yourself with a lot of blood even then the chance of HIV transmission is minimal but theoritically possible. In the scenario you mentioned would qualify as low to no risk.
