27 day negative duo but possible symptoms after week 5

Dear Dr HH,

Thaks for your wonderful work. I had visited a bother in Australia. Activity involved forplay and no penitrative sex. I had my underwear on during entire time. My concern is at one point girl was sitting on top of me for 2-3 minutes and i noticed her veginal fluid was on top of my underwear. In week 3 i had experience some pain in groin area . I did under took full STD check at 27 days which included hiv duo/combo. All came negative. But i am concerned as in week 5 i started getting liitle bit of sore throat, mild pain in one side lymphnode on of neck. After few days i had one rash on neck that disappeared in 15-20 mins. Doctor diagnosed it as flu which was common in that time. For following few days i was feeling itchy so i took antihistamine medication which was able to releve symptoms and no rashes after that. In week 6 again i was feeling itchy on hand , neck, behind ear but all resolved with antihistamine medication. I must admit i had lot of anxiety for all 6 weeks. None of these rash were on chest, under arm or on back. Can you please advise what is chance of 27 day duo missing possible infection ?

Hi Chima and AnxiousNoMore for your comments. If I put all together, even in scenario where some veginial fluid pass through underwear and made contact with my penis.  There is still no risk of HIV transmission. The rational is fluid being outside the body. Is that correct ? Thank you again for your time.

Yes, outside virus is effectively dead unlike a cold virus that you can catch when someone sneezes.

Symptoms are never used to diagnose HIV. An HIV specialist only looks at your risk factor, yours was none/zero, and test results, yours were negative which means you don't have HIV.

If you're not feeling well then keep working with your doctor to figure out what's wrong, but you have conclusively ruled out HIV as a cause because you had zero exposure and a negative HIV test to prove that you are HIV negative.

IJ2016 no I said the opposite of what you think I said about cuts.

I said even if both parties have cuts there is no risk. You would have to be bleeding profusely with deep gaping wounds and the virus thrust deeply inside to even have a THEORETICAL risk, and the pain would be so intense that you wouldn't be having any sexual touching if the wounds were that deep.
Reread the part about 40 and air.

Thanks anxiusnomore for your reply. I agree that some of my symptoms were purely anxiety based but how can i give myself rashes and itchiness. This really bothered me. I understand you are saying that both parties need to have bleeding sore and they needs to be in close proximity to cause (blood to blood type) transfer of virus. If that is the case then why veginal fluid alone is also considered risk ?

Also, Comments by doctor on test accuracy at 27 day and assessment on symptoms will really help me.
Week 3- pain in groin area.
Week 4- day 27 negative duo. Groin pain gone.
Week 5- mild sore throat, pain in lympnode in neck but only one side and only one lymph node (felt like it). 37.7 fewer, rash on neck come and go in 15-20 min. GP anylysed this as probably Flu.
Week 6: only ichiness and rashes for one day which were gone after taking antihistamine.

Thanks again. Really appreciate your time and help.

Anyone can get rashes and itchiness and because you didn't live in a bubble you are like anyone else. Reread the 40 advice because at present you are trying to invent a new science without any medical training.

Forgot to mention, groin pain went away after test results in week 4. Also never had strong sore throat and fever but i felt chills few days in week 3. No persistant symtoms. Is it ARS symptoms ? Do they keep changing ? Does ars rash itch and go away with antihistamine ?

The doctors left here long ago. Only sex risks are penetrating anal or vaginal without a condom so you had no risk. HIV is instantly inactivated in air so you could both have cuts when rubbing and not transmit HIV.
All your symptoms are just self diagnosed and could be in your imagination or else like the doctor said it was flu. Since you had no risk the good news is the test was a waste of time.

The science is 40 years old which makes it very proven by now, so there is nothing you can add to your situation that would make it a risk.
