Your results are highly reassuring and unlikely to change otherwise. However recommended test period is 4 weeks, so just repeat the test after a few days
Is it likely to change? 23 days or 28 days...does it carry a huge difference?
This is peer to peer advice so no one here is a doctor here. Talk with the clinic or doctor where you got the test if they say it is conclusive let it be.
But your resluts are highly reassuring
You don't need to test again, the window period for the kind of test you took is 3-4 weeks after exposure or 21-28 days and you did it at 23 days. So no further test is needed.
I took the test again 7 weeks after exposure and the result came back non reactive. But I am still have sore throat and it has not subsided even after administration of different antibiotics. Can I consider my result conclusive and go on, or is their a possibility of this being false result (since I am experiencing sore throat since a long period now) ? Please do reply.
How do you not know someone took a condom off YOU?
You don't have HIV
I was high at that moment, and also was exhausted due to the previous act so, I did not notice I curse myself everyday and want to get back to that time to correct the mistake but what can I do now? What about my sore throat its their for more thhan 6 weeks now?
Vance, why do you simply conclude that he doesn't have HIV when he clearly admits that he had unprotected sex?
He also clearly admits when he has been tested.
I thought 4th generation duo test is conclusive after 28 days, not 23.
Yes that is true, but there is a very strong chance that antigen would be found at this time period.
But Vance is basing is calculation on the second test 7 week's after exposure.
If you take the two test's that delta 507 said he had and they were Duo, then he does not have HIV.
Vance is right.
