Can't sleep, scared HIV symptoms

So far it has been 21 days after my possible exposure. I'm a man who had unprotected sex with a woman who assured me she was clean. Since then i have experianced several symptoms which has scared me to death. Now most of my symptoms are gone such as the persistant headache, loss appetite, dry mouth, fatique, and lymp node. Now my biggest scare has been sleeping at night. Im finding my self shaking, trembling, or twitching and then waking up sweating. Soon as i awake i feel numbness and tingle in my hands and feet. Every night im having nightmare over this, Im planning to get tested next week. This experaince has been hell,  who ever knew it takes only one dumb mistake to cost you your life.

ARS symptoms are mostly gone in the past 1-2 weeks since starting in the 2nd week after the exposure. Now beginning of the 4th week, im experaincing fatiques and sleeping problems only, would that be common side effects of people newly diagnose with HIV?

YES, Most people that test NEG have most of the "ARS Like" symptoms. As I said symptoms do not tell you anything only an HIV antibody test will give you the answers you are seeking.

No, what is scary is people going around having unprotected sex. That's what is scary.

she said she was tested in which she was negative. however its scary to know that she may just have been recently infected because going back i remember kissing her and her mouth being bit dry or what seemed like thrush. I wish i knew these things before hand i would have avoided the situation.

As a person who never gets sick this sudden shift has me very worried. How often is it people test negative after experiancing all the symptoms along with thrush, night sweats, and what seems a peripheral neuropathy symptoms. These are symptoms not common but do appear along with other vague symptoms of headache, fever, nausea. loss appetite, and lymp node. So far no sore throat and rashes although skin does itch there is no apparent visual bumps or spots. i will get tested next week which is 26 days after exposure.

Symptoms mean nothing when it comes to being infected, Test at 6 weeks for a good indacation of your status and again at 3 months for your conclusive result. Also for peace of mind until you test have her go get tested and show you her results.

Hope this helps
