Please clear up some misinformation if you can

Hi everyone,

On some forums experts say that unprotected frotting, specifically unprotected penis rubbing between female buttocks, thighs and near the vagina without penetration, is very low risk for HIV transmission to the male while others say it is NO risk whatsoever. I tend to think it is no risk. I mean, what could the very low risk be? How is possible for the male to receive any of the female's fluids without penetration?

Which is the real reality here?

You would have to go and ask them. We have no idea why they give out incorrect information.

Teak, I am having trouble getting anyone to DIRECTLY answer my question. Please try to focus on it. I am not worried about my exposure as alienshadow seems to think. I simply want to know what experts who claim frotting carries minimal risk think that minimal risk could possibly be.

Thanks agian,
Rudy

Here is my original post.

What I am trying to ascertain is why some experts say frotting is a risk and if it is, HOW? I want to understand what THEY think the risk is when there is no penetration in either vagina or anus. I am surmising that they could only mean that fresh HIV-pos vag fluids or blood can seroconvert if they get into the urethra or thru body cut immediately after leaking from the female body.

Sorry buddy there is nothing more to say.. I guess I could say if you arent reassured by what we are telling you you may want to deal with other issues you may have going on... Its not normal to continue to worry about a no risk exposure....No further comments from me on this thread..

HIV takes unprotected penetration, frottage is not penetration. At no time were you at risk of contracting HIV from frottage. IT'S SAFE SEX..

Can you address that besides stressing what Lizzy Lou wrote?

Much appreciated,

So then are you saying it is impossible to contract HIV from frotting, even if there were some fresh HIV-pos vaginal fluid on the woman's buttocks entering the man's urethra?

thanks

sexually speaking...hiv is transmitted INSIDE the body, as in the penis being INSIDE the vagina / anus.
