Last point I have a fusion gillete razor. So it has 5 blades, worst part is that the blades move back when pressed against the skin. If guest cut himself the blood could be trapped against corner against (underneath) edge of blade without being exposed to instantly. Then when I used it after little exposure to air the I would immediately be exposed to air.
Rash was never raised completely flat and slowly going away.
Did you even read my entire thread?
you NEVER had a risk...NEVER.
any rash that you might have is NOT hiv related.
kindly move along...you do not have a hiv concern.
In addition. I just saw the razor. It had very very little blood on a corner.
1) does alleged rash sound like ARS rash?
At best guest only used it once. I am worried about the two Australian girls that got HIV through sharing a razor. Like I said it was one of those razors that have five blades.
Don't share razor blade you can get other diseases from it, but not HIV for sure.
One only gets HIV from unprotected vaginal/anal sex, sharing drug works such as needles, or from mother to child.
Your symptoms have nothing to do with HIV given your absence of HIV risk, so you would better consult other forums here on MedHelp for the possible cause.
In addition, the rash is slowly fading away. If it was something else besides ARS rash it would not slowly go away, but rather flake off or disappear at once. I read rash was most important symptom.
Worried about message with wound and infectious fluids in hands and using razor with five blades that guest used, multiple times. All this incidents mean many exposures?
Also, I got a teeth in back pulled doctor put me on cephalexin (antibiotics) could that prevent ARS fever from fully developing with other symptoms? Does rash sound like ARS rash?
I guess I am afraid it is the ARS rash, and some how the virus survived and got to me through the wound when I got the message or when I shaved with razor that had five blades that the guess used (blood in a corner of the blade), that is why I am wondering if it looks like ARS rash.
It was completely flat not elevated lasted for about two- three days and then the redness started to fade away.
How could it be related to ARS when you never had an exposure?
Does mine sound like an ARS rash?
How does ARS rash look like?
You never had a risk of contracting HIV.
HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.
There were multiple incidents.
1) I got a massage with a fresh cut on back. Bo sex but I suspect she had menstrual blood on hands or semen from a previous customer. No sex with her. Cut was 10 minutes old.
I got flu like symptoms about two weeks after that, with no congestion (that is bad). After those symptoms (I don't know how long in between) I got above mentioned rash.
2) some guy visited my family from Latin America. He stayed at our house. I left my gillete fusion razor in restroom and I am sure he used it. The razor has five blades. I used the blade, please assume it had his blood. I realized it stop using it. But I could not afford a new blade so I used it again about two days later. I used about two to three more time after that as well. Two weeks after I first used the above rash appeared.
I READ ABOUT THE GIRLS AND RAZOR IN AUSTRALIA. My razor had five blades.
What was your possible exposure.
Rash is slowly fading away. Day by day.
